Stay Closed
Be sure to keep your full body closed as you stride and throw, rather than opening up your shoulders or hips. This will help you stay in control of your direction and throw more consistent strikes.
Big Stride
A big stride towards the plate helps you generate your power in your lower half while helping you get closer to your target, causing you to throw harder.
Stay Back
As you step with your front foot, keep the back-side of your lower half as far as possible before you eventually fall towards the mound, as this will generate more power and help you use all of your lower half strength.
Get Rest
It is essential to rest in between throwing sessions, as your arm can only throw so much. Even if it feels like you’re not doing enough while resting, recovery days are crucial for pitchers and developing arms.
Have fun!
Baseball at all levels can be nerve-racking or stressful so it is always important to remember why you’re playing baseball in the first place!

I’m looking forward to speaking with you!
